Tom Gonzales PT, MPT, OCS, CMPT
Tom founded Triumph Physical Therapy with one purpose in mind, to help people achieve the highest level of health and ability possible. Triumph achieves this through excellence in patient care and customer service. We strive to treat our patients like family.
Tom has lived and worked in Commerce Township for over 10 years and has been a physical therapist for 20+ years. In 2006, he was nationally recognized as a Board Certified in Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. This designation is achieved through experience and demonstration of advanced clinical knowledge. The credential is good for a 10 year period. Tom recently completed a strenuous re-certification process and earned a second 10 year term. Tom is the only Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist practicing in the Lakes area.
Tom also achieved the Certificated Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) credential in 2010 from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Therapy. CMPT is given to therapists who have demonstrated mastery of advanced manual therapy knowledge and techniques. Again, he is the only therapist in the area with this credential.
Tom also earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Health Science and one in Psychology, from the University of Michigan.
