Work Injuries

Clients that are injured at work require specialized care in physical therapy. Triumph PT is focused beyond simply recovery range of motion and strength. We aim to help our clients achieve the highest level of function possible and Return to Work.

This approach begins on Day 1 and continues through case resolution. We have over 17 years of experience treating work injuries, performing FCEs, and developing work conditioning plans.

Rehabilitation Phase
In the rehabilitation phase, our focus is on helping clients quickly heal, recover strength and function. This is done in an environment that encourages attendance and effort. Communication with other team members is critical to clients achieving optimal outcomes.

Patients who suffer from work-related injuries may meet the treatment goals of physical therapy but can’t return to work due to inability to perform specific job tasks or deconditioning.

Work Conditioning

Work conditioning programs, are a valuable link to enable clients to achieve higher physical demand levels. These programs are designed to help patients with the following:

  • Recover function with job specific tasks
  • Recover their strength
  • Improve work endurance
  • Increase flexibility & mobility
  • Improve cardiorespiratory fitness

Personalized interventions are also provided to decrease the odds of re-injury upon return work.

Work Conditioning at Triumph PT is limited in duration and goals are focused on specific job related deficits. Progress toward these goals is main determining factor in the client continuing the program.

Functional Capacity Evaluation
Another important piece in the care of work injuries can be a Functional Capacity Evaluation. With over 17 years of experience you can be assured our FCEs are provide accurate information about a client’s abilities and effort.
